David Chipman

David Chipman has a lifelong career in the radio industry, starting as teenager. Today, he is a Senior Vice President/Sales Director at Nielsen, the world’s leading provider of critical media information and analytics around consumer behavior. In this role, Chipman oversees a regional sales team, covering more than 95 metros, including three of the top five and 14 of the top 25 markets.
Prior to his career in audio measurement, he spent 20 years in the local radio industry in Utah, starting in programming. He advanced to leadership through his passion in broadcast sales.
He resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife, Christine, and their two dogs.
