Don Parker

Don Parker is Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Northern California Region, Program Director for iHeartMedia San Francisco’s 106.1 KMEL and General Manager for iHeartMedia’s National LGBTQ+ platform, PRIDE Radio. In his role, he oversees the day-to-day programming, marketing, sales and operations of PRIDE Radio and helps further expand the brand’s reach and business development to the LGBTQ+ community across the country. In addition, Parker was responsible for the initial planning of iHeartMedia and P&G’s successful “Can’t Cancel Pride” event as well as live Virtual Happy Hour events on the PRIDE Radio YouTube channel every Friday during June in 2020.

Parker is a seasoned broadcasting professional with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Before joining iHeartMedia, he served as National Vice President of Programming for NextMedia Group. Prior to that, Parker programmed a variety of formats at stations in Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Fresno, including serving as Program Director for Rhythmic Oldies KCMG (now iHeartMedia Los Angeles’ Real 92.3) and launching iHeartMedia Houston’s 94.5 The Buzz. He began his career at iHeartMedia Fresno’s B95.

Parker currently resides in San Francisco with his husband, Todd. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, taking long walks, enjoying a bottle of wine and spoiling his dog, CeCe.
