I was born like a phoenix from the ashes of radio normality in Anchorage Alaska. Ooh. That’s good. My tape had found its way to venerable producer Tom Sandman at WBCN Boston, and he is responsible for busting me out of the Gulag (unless that means Hungarian soup.) For the past 34 years, I’ve been a fixture of Los Angeles radio (as in, I just wouldn’t LEAVE) first as Imager at KROQ FM for 14 years, and another 20 years where I am today, at my nationally syndicated Frostbytes Radio Imaging service. I’ve been edgy. If I was a meme, I’d be dank. A dank alt rock radio meme. I’ve gained much notoriety among peers, leaving many awards, accolades, and bipolar exotic dancers in my wake. I won the Rick Carroll Radio Innovator of the year award way back there somewhere.
